Dearest husband of Natalie (nee Krauss) for 30 years. Father of Jane (Frank) Lewinski. Step-father of Mike (Judy) Garvey, Nick (Beth) Garvey, Ed Garvey, Anne (Randy) Resch, Chuck Garvey, Mary (Chad) Jendrey, Matt Garvey, Joe (Jaeniene) Garvey and Phil Garvey. Thomas F. Van Alstine February 29, 1924 - March 7, 2016 Resided in Milwaukee, WI Obituary Born to eternal life and joined his beloved wife, Mavis K. (nee Massard - 1927/2012) on Monday, March 7, 2016, age 92 years. Loving dad of Michael (Patricia Nelson), Patricia (Kim) Armstrong, Mark (Nancy Gall), Christopher, Robert (Kristin) and Barbara Van Alstine. Dearest grandpa of Timothy, Kathryn (Steven) Taylor, Matthew and Nicholas. Dear brother James (Joyce) and Marion Van Alstine; the late Delphine Hendricks and the late Delbert Van Alstine. Also survived by other family and friends. Thomas was a retiree of the Caterpillar Company after 30 years of service and a U.S. Army veteran serving during WW II.
