Margaret Ann "Meg" (Antoniewicz) OLEJNICZAK, died on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the age of 68, Green Bay, WI,
due to a courageous two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born on February 29, 1948 in Antigo, WI to the late Jeannette R. Wu (Antoniewicz Mattmiller) and John H. Antoniewicz.
She graduated from Antigo High School, attended post-secondary courses at NWTC & UWGB.
Meg married the love of her life, David L. Olejniczak on April 2, 1977 at Pilgrim Congregational Church in Green Bay, WI.
Meg worked at NWTC from 1966-1982 serving in various capacities, then as a Tax Professional at H & R Block.
In 1989 she became State Director of the Wisconsin Academic Decathlon Program and worked there until her retirement in 2001.
She continued to serve as a consultant for them until 2016. She enjoyed working with the educators and students and devoted
countless volunteer hours towards the WIAD Program.
Meg's hobbies included spending time with her extended family, former pet dogs - Elvis, Samantha and Mandy;
her niece's dog Rowan, gardening, fishing, cooking, traveling, snowmobiling, Casinos in various states and countries,
and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and WI Badgers.
Many travels included Paris, Spain, England, Hawaii (four trips which included a special month's stay for Meg and Dave's 30th wedding anniversary),
numerous National Parks, five years wintering in Lake Havasu City, AZ, Alaska, Canada, Niagara Falls,
two Super Bowl Packer Wins (1997-New Orleans & 2010 Arlington, TX),
and visited most of the continental United States. She had a great passion for spectacular scenery of mountains, lakes, flowers and oceans.
Survivors include her loving husband, David, who was her soulmate and best friend. Also surviving is her father, Richard Mattmiller,
who has been a wonderful Dad to her for over 52 years;
sister, Pamela (Andy) Racine;
brother, Gary (Beth) Antoniewicz; brother, Rick (Carol) Mattmiller; special niece, Lisa Hebel; Godchild, Ashton Hebel; Mary (Julio) Cedillo,
other nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
Meg was preceded in death by her parents, Jeannette Mattmiller 1994; John Antoniewicz 1961;
in-laws, Aloysius and Phoebe Olejniczak; nephews, En and Johnny Antoniewicz; aunts, uncles, and sister-in-law, Marcia Olejniczak.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 3 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6 pm.
Entombment will take place at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

which include the Bay Area Humane Society - Green Bay, CP Center-Green Bay, Pancreatic Cancer Research, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
A special thank you to the outstanding care given by Meg's husband David who has endured many years of medical challenges with Meg and stayed
so devoted to her even through his own health issues.
Meg enjoyed the last 15+ years of reuniting and spending time with her brother, Gary, who was serving in the Air Force for 22 years defending our great country.
Also to Meg's extended family members (Dad, Pam & Lisa) and friends (Margie, Luanne, Patti, Carol & Mary) for all their support,
prayers and compassion throughout the years;
Dr. Burnette, Green Bay Oncology staff and nurses, and Unity Hospice.
